Somewhat back to Normal

Happy Friday Eve! And yes, I do think of all Thursday’s as “Friday Eve.” Sometimes it is the only way to think of it, like when it has been a very long week. Then there are those weeks, like this one, where I have been so consumed with work (you know my actual paying job, lol) and getting this website/blog more public access, creating a Face book Page and a Twitter Account, not to mention my typical daily to-do’s. Oye-vay! What a crazy couple of days, and I still have a lot of work on getting this more viewable ahead of me.

Now, with all of that said, I do have a confession to make to those of you reading this. I am very excited to be doing this, and I am so very invested in this new adventure that I am utterly amazed at myself… see, I have managed to keep it a secret from my husband. It wasn’t really a decision I made at the beginning, but as I got to creating it, I wondered if it might hurt him to see me reaching out on this level. I know how much he loves me, and I want to be very clear, he never makes me feel “second,” in fact quite the opposite, but to those of us living the life of Second Wife and Step-Mom, there is no easy way to explain the emotions that come-up constantly… so here I am, building a place where we can all come together.

As mentioned in yesterday’s blog, I had totally different plans for my entries this week, and had truly hoped that when composing today’s entry I would be back on track… but as you can see, I have been a tad distracted.

I do endeavor to be up and running and, at least at 90% of where I want to be by my end-of-day tomorrow, then take the weekend and get all my stuff assembled and be back to my normal come Monday morning, but I will of course keep you guys posted on all the news as it unfolds.
